How is my course different?

I make it very easy by walking you through the basics. I show you exactly what I have used for years to achieve brilliant and unique paintings. I take a non-traditional approach to watercolor, by sharing the secrets of botanical artists along with landscape methodology and color exploration. We will begin with traditional methods, and then explore how color exploration and technique makes you unique as an artist. I’ll share with you my process and what I have learned from other artists.

My course covers Technique, Materials, and Secrets other watercolor artists might consider to be a preference, but I consider to be essential for learning. I will share some of my shortcuts for creating beautiful watercolor paintings that I had to take many different watercolor, oil painting, and fine art classes with master painters to finally learn. We will discuss: crosshatching, papers, materials for painting, wet in wet technique for botanicals, and taking your watercolors from paintings to digital creations (in a bonus video).
